P1 Programs
Embodied AI and Perception for Autonomous Systems
Program Co-Directors
Program Description
Robotics and embodied AI are of growing strategic importance to Denmark, underpinning advances in manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, agriculture, and autonomous technologies. Danish universities are highly active across robotic manipulation, navigation, perception, as well as human-robot interaction, with strong engagement from both academia and industry. This diverse landscape creates a clear need for a Nordic forum that supports knowledge exchange and cross-institutional collaboration.
The purpose behind the P1 program, Embodied AI and Perception for Autonomous Systems, is to build a strong local community around robotics and embodied AI, providing researchers from Danish institutions a forum to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and establish future collaborations. To achieve this goal, the program seeks to organize and establish a new series of targeted workshops, designed to promote interaction, knowledge sharing, and long-term collaboration across local institutions.
By providing a dedicated workshop series on robotics and AI, the aim is to strengthen existing research and help consolidate Denmark as a leader in the field of robotics, while engaging with researchers from across Nordic and European institutions.
