Talk 1

Can AI be the Tech Gateway Old-school Industries Need to Digitize?

How would you describe software in the construction industry? “Modern?” “Innovative?” Probably not. More likely “outdated” or ”boring.” Despite huge potential, adoption has been slow - weighed down by small margins, and too many stakeholders. Poorly designed tools haven’t helped, often built without true software expertise, leaving them unfriendly and ineffective. But a new wave is here: software infused with AI that doesn’t just simplify work - it takes on tasks itself. Combined with intuitive, user-friendly design, this could transform construction from an old school industry into a digital leader. In this talk, Oline will share how Acembee is tackling this challenge head-on.

Talk 2

Getting ahead of scammers - fighting bad AI with good AI

Digital fraud is evolving faster than ever, and traditional defenses can’t keep up. SKJOLDET is on a mission to revolutionize how we fight fraud by detecting and preventing scams in real time, without needing prior knowledge of them. With nearly 20,000 users already protected through a proactive AI-powered browser extension, the approach stands apart: users receive free protection while anonymized fraud intelligence is collected directly from real interactions. Flipping around how fraud is usually caught, this approach provides insights into the threat landscape, creating value for authorities, companies, and banks. Hear how AI is used for both good and bad - on both sides of the scam.
